I actually try to do more than think of self defense and martial arts information to share with you. For today’s topic, I was cruising through some of the different Blogs I follow and one, written by a mentor of mine, leaped at me and I had to share it with you. It was written by Mike Litman who I met at a Seminar I attended in New York last year(2007).  It was undoubtedly one of the best seminars I’ve attended. In three days, he provided more content for growing an internet business than any two or three business seminars I’ve gone to. He’s the one who started me blogging.

     So, what’s this got to do with you? I just read his Blog titled “The Loverage Mentality”. He had introduced it to us at the seminar and I’d seen the power of it at that time. I actually started living it and trying to implement it ever since. I’d just forgotten what it was called. Kind of like the self defense stuff I usually speak on. You don’t have to remember names of self defense moves – you just have to embrace them, ingrain them in your subconscious, and use them when needed.

     I digress. Ok, so what is Mikes “Loverage Mentality”? Let’s let him tell it. “The most successful people in the world have a strong desire to help others, give back to people. They have a desire to give back, to share the fruits of their labor, and to make a difference in their customer’s life and those who need an outstretched hand. They are SELLING and GIVING more life to others. Whatever you want more of, start to give it away NOW. Become a walking, talking reward and blessing for others”.      While I’m not talking self defense and giving you life coaching ideas, there’s a movie that illustrates Mike’s Blog. It’s called “Pay It Forward”. It’s a very good movie and I highly recommend you watch it with your kids.
